For now, I will continue to post on my Instagram. I need to format this site properly and get some really pretty css code added here. I'm thinking modules and a page dedicated to past entries, with a few most recent posts on the homepage. Fan mail function for sure, perhaps an on site newsletter with simple notifications when a new one is published. The newsletter continues to be on hold as I don't have a computer to use the software I've chosen. It is open source which is what I like about it so much. I prefer self hosting given the age of social media has shown us relying on platforms to archive your work or honor their user base is untrustworthy. I even intend to back up all my work here when I have the energy. It's so sad how much of a beating trust has taken in the past 5 to 6 years especially. And the state of our societies reflect this breakdown.
I am so excited for 'The Many Faces of Death', The Vampire Lestat, Mr. Crocket, Batman the long Halloween, Les Maudis, I'm thinking of ending things, I am a ghost, Mars Express, No Other Choice, The Transfiguration, Tears of the mountain, MÄrama, Evil Dead Rise, Resident Evil, I am Frankelda. The Cat and the dragon, Mother Mary, Near Dark (1987), Little Amelie, The Secret of Convict lake, The Bloodiest, Keep quiet and forgive, Newborn, Flesh of the gods.
So long as none of these projects use ai, or are partnered with any problematic figures. That's always a major caveat as a film lover. I do care about who I'm supporting or watching. I try to be informed. It's impossible to catch it all, and if you assume everyone is a horrible person you can lose your desire to engage with artists and art, so I try to find the balance and again, always try to act from a place of ethics.
